We are experienced investors seeking businesses that are looking for new capital for Growth. 

Businesses that we already understand are most attractive, but we are open to investing the time to learn a new business model if management is willing to invest the time to educate us.  We are quick learners!

Our investments are most successful when we can selectively add our experience or expertise to where management has gaps.  That said, we are NOT interested in pushing management to new and uncomfortable places under the excuse that we can "maximize returns" ... that is a great way to ruin a wonderful business.  "Maximizing returns" makes business plans unsustainable and long term returns problematic.  Of course, we are looking for a return ... but we get our greatest kick helping build a sustainable business that provides jobs and helps its community.

And we are NOT interested in running the business in any way for management.

We love partners!  Mid-sized businesses that can access broad expertise (with some skin in the game) have an unusual advantage in their competitive space.  We can be that additive partner or we can help attract additional partners to round out your Board or ownership group.

We are NOT angel investors.  Start-ups are not our thing.  We are always looking to hear new stories and exciting ideas but we believe that great start-ups are led and driven by passionate entrepreneurs with an idea, a vision and a plan.  Having participated in many start-up and new business ventures, we have learned the value we add to such efforts typically ends with our enthusiasm and support.
